The elemental quality of working in just black and white seems to demand a quick and full attention, especially in the formative stage of a Brush and Ink painting. You can paint over an oil painted mistake, or should I say you can 'experiment' at leisure! Ink doesn't rub out much at all, so you just have to throw mistakes away.
